Its been a while

I know it has been a while. I have been pretty busy. I have been at my job since February. I got promoted in July, I love my new position. My mom is living with us and taking care of the boys while Pat and I are working. We had a good Summer. I can not beleive that Spencer will be 2 in a couple of month. It makes me so sad. Taylor is 4 and 1/2 He is so smart. They are both growing so fast. Spencer is saying words. Taylor is a good big brother most of the time and shares real well with Spencer. Well hopefully next time will not take this long.

Well I waited as long as possible. Spencer's hair was getting real stringy. It would just start looking ratty right after it would dry from the tub. It made me so sad. Spence is too cute. He loves getting into everything and does not want to play with anything but things he can not have. Like remotes, computers, in cabinets, and etc....

Well, just as we thought we would not see snow this year, this happened. Can I tell you we were so excited. It was awesome. It started snowing at 3:30 Sunday and did not stop snowing till about 1am. We had a lot of fun, at least Pat and I did. Taylor had a bad fever starting sunday at church. He did go out for a little while with Spencer. I had to work Monday and Taylor and Pat were both down and out on the couch all day. So no pics of anyone playing in the snow, to bad. It was so amazing watching the snow just keep comming down. This is the real first snow storm I have ever been in. We loved it.

Here are some cute pics of Taylor and Spencer. Spencer Just started walking a couple of weeks ago It is so cute. The day before he started walking he was standing by himself in the kitchen, and when I lookedat him I got tears in my eyes. My baby is not a baby anymore. Well Taylor loves to watch Christmas train videos, Polar Express, and Video of polar express and trains on you tube. Spencer likes to get under the kitchen cabnet and pull everything out, look at the christmas tree and reaches for the lights. Man I love them.

Yes look at the blood, He ended up falling off the chair. I even got it on video. Seriously, I do not know where he came from. I mean Taylor was and still is always so cautious. Tay will still not jump of the bed or the couch. Spencer actually climbed up the chair and was standing with one foot. It was so cute, I'm in for it now. Love It!!!!!

OK so I know it has been a while, but on my defence I was in AZ for a month in October. It was a fun but loooooong trip, especially with 2 little ones. Taylor is doing great, he loves his little brother. One thing that makes me sad it Taylor does not like my kisses anymore, WHAT. He is only three come on I thought I would get kisses from him till at least age five. Maybe this is just a little faze. Spencer is to cute he has 4 teeth now 2 top 2 bottom. Spence can stand but still will not walk he has been standing for at month now. He is so cute he will be standing at the table and lift up his arms up and down huffing and puffing and laughing it is so cute. Spencer will eat anything and is so messy. Defiantly getting use to that one, Tay was so clean. Well I will upload some pics now. Some will be from our trip to Florida.

Pat, I and the Boys came to Florida this week end till Wednesday. It is Sunday and Taylor, Spencer, and I just got home from church. Man I really miss it here. Taylor got to see all his friends at church, and I got to see mine. It was so nice. I was also able to see all my old coworkers at one of their little boys birthday parties. I really miss it down here. Obviously I've mentioned it twice. I wish I had pics of all the people we were able to see again.

It has been so nice to see Pats Mom and two sisters. We have missed them. Luckily they are just a days drive away. We are going to have to come back in the spring.

We went to the beach the first day we got here. It was so nice and warm. Taylor loved it and started right where he left off, getting right into the water and having a wonderful time. Spencer's first time at the beach was amazing. He loved it just a much as Taylor. He was crawling around with sand all over him. You know I can not believe he did not eat the Sand, He is my eater, he eats everything even paper, so for him not even trying to put any sand in his mouth was great. It was more toward evening time so we were shaded by a hotel which was great I did not have to worry about Spencer's skin. He also loved the water, I had to take him in to get all the sand off and he just jumped and splashed. I can not wait to go back before we leave. My sister in law Courtney took pics of Taylor and Spencer at the beach so I will post them once she sends them to me.

The Birthday party was awesome. I was able to see Sabrina, Beth, Ashley, and Leah my old coworkers. Man I miss them all. We had so much fun working together. All our kids are the same age so it was fun seeing them all interact and play. They all are so cute. Ashley's to Wilson and Grace wow I can not believe how big they have gotten and Gracy is so stinking cute. Then Logan and Mason, it was Logan's party. He turned 3. Beth's little guy Dominic so cute with milky white skin and sweet big eyes, you can just see his personality coming out of them. Then there was Ethan how is just starting to talk. I love the way he says "Horsey". It was nice to see Sabrina's mom again she is so sweet. And the made the most wonderful Empanadas sorry don't know how to spell that.

Then seeing all my friends from church Kristy, Jenny, Rachel, Deanna, Amanda and many others. Rachel's baby is so cute, it was the first time I was able to see her. Kristy's little Logan is the cutes little butter ball, makes me smile thinking of him. And Mia has gotten so big. So has Kai, Daxton and Jacy. Jacy was born a week before Spencer she is so long. And how can i forget Isabella, Taylor's Belle. He loves her so much. He brought her a lay necklace to church and sat next to her during sacrament meeting. They were so cute.

This is everything up to date. We are leaving on Wednesday, and my shoes are already full of sand.

Our trip to Tennessee

We decided to go to Tennessee kind of on a whim, Pat had Tuesday and Wednesday off. So we drove to Tennessee Tuesday around 1pm and came home Wednesday around 4pm. It was a short trip but we had a lot of fun, and made some good memories. Every time we go to Tennessee we stay at Hidden Mountain Inn which are cabins you can rent in the Smokey Mountains. We love it there. We stumbled across it on our honeymoon driving from Arizona to Florida and have gone back every year but two, the year Taylor was born and last year. This year we went to Ripley's Aquarium and I am so glad we did, the boys loved it, especially Taylor. It was huge and it just seemed to kept going and going, I will blog pics of the aquarium soon. We went to our favorite restaurant twice Applewood Restaurant a must as usual. I am so glad we went. I can not wait to go back.
This is the cabin we stayed in "Time Stops Here" I really felt at peace up there. I didn't think about anything and just lived and enjoyed the time with Pat and the boys. Each cabin has its own name, we have never stayed in the same cabin twice, each cabin has a jacuzzi tub and a jacuzzi on the balcony. One year we rented a cabin with a ping pong table on the balcony. There are so many fun things to do up here. One year we went horse back riding. We have not gone white water rafting yet and now we will have to wait till the boys get older, but that is defiantly something I would love to do.

I'm excited to say that I made my on blog background. I never really new about digital scrap booking. I might have heard the word on time or another. Well my sister Kathi and I were talking about it and so I went to all these sights and got free digital scrap booking paper, elements, alphabets, and etc. I then down loaded gimp on my computer, which is like photo shop and created this template. I think it looks pretty good for my first one.

Last Tuesday night I told Taylor he does not need his Mimi (pacifier) anymore because he is a big boy. I started naming friends of his that do not have pacifiers because they are big kids. I asked him if he wanted to try to go to sleep without his mimi he said yes. HE DID!!! I'm happy and sad all at the same time. My Little boy is getting so big. The next day he took his mimi and threw it away in the trash and told Pat he did not need it anymore because "I'm a big boy now" After Taylor left the room Pat went and got it back out of the trash. I think Pat is just as sad as I am if not sadder.

Our neighbors Justin and Heather put together a treasure hunt for their daughter Brianna and

Taylor. Justin made a real authentic map and put half in there mail box and the other half in ours. Taylor was so excited he could not wait till after church to go over to there house and find the treasure. He also could not stop talking about it for days. He still says he wants to find another treasure. Here are pics of the map and them on the hunt.

We went to the Greenville Zoo with some friends from church. The zoo is small but the animals and the way you could view them were great. You could see all the animals up close. It was great. Taylor really liked it, I did too.

We had a preparedness day at Church a couple of months back. Taylor got this fire chief hat from the fire fighters that had a smoke house going on. I did not see it, but a smoke house is this little house that feels up with smoke and you have to feel your way out. One of the young women took Taylor to this, he did not want to do it. That's OK, he had fun playing with his hat. and it looks cute on Spencer too.

The Fourth of July

On the fourth of July Taylor, Spencer and I went to our neighbors house for a neighborhood barbecue. Pat had to work till about 8pm so we did not go see fireworks, but the week before our neighbors put on a little show here are some pictures of Taylor and Pat. Brianna, Heather and Branden. Justin our neighbor had ear muffs from the driving range and let Taylor borrow them. Taylor is very sensitive to the loud bangs. These worked wonders, he was able watch them and still hear us and the fireworks. We had so much fun!!!

OK, so I know it has been a while and I need to catch up. Here is Taylor making Pat a craft for fathers day. He had so much fun. And even more fun getting messy, and those of you who know Taylor he does not like to get messy. This is coming from a kid who would fall in the grass until just about 3 months ago and hold his hands in the air wanting me to clean them off. Heather Harper you know what I'm talking about you were there for all of that. But with in the last three months he loves to play in the dirt, he is still kind of clean about it. Anyways he had so much fun doing this craft, he started clapping his hands together and I just let him. I did not want to spoil his fun. And look at that sweet face.

The Swing Set

Our next door neighbors put up a swing set. Taylor and Spencer go over to play on it at least once a day. Taylor loves it, I can't believe my little Taylor climbs up the rock wall and slides down the slide, he still needs a little help with the slide, but he has the rock wall mastered. This is crazy because any of you who know Taylor know he is a real cautious little boy. And believe it or not I likes the swing too, but not as much as the rest. It is crazy how Taylor can get Spencer to crack up. This video shows Spencer cracking up the hardest he has ever done before. I love the two little kids. I can not believe Spencer will be 7 months on the 14th of this month. The time has flown bye. Spencer will for his live not roll over i know he can because he does it in his bed every time I put him in there. He loves to sit up and his jumper. Taylor loves him. He is so good with him. I can ask Taylor who is the prophet he says Thomas Monson, what is the name of our church he says Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. He also sings follow the Prophet.

Taylor's friend Brianna came over to play the other day and they dressed up in Taylor's old Halloween costumes. Man how the years have flown buy, I can not believe my baby is 3. He is getting so big. I miss him little so much it all seems like a blur at times. I love reminiscing in the years past. It actually makes me sad. He will always be my Little Taybear. Taylor is such a good big brother, he always says "I'm so excited we got him (Spencer) from the hospital." Taylor does not say his S's so stop is top, don't spray me is is don't pray me. He had a good birthday, but lets just say I now know why you wait for the end of the party to open presents. Pat and I still like to bite him. He can make Spencer laugh, he was actually the first one to do this. We live next to this high school and every time we pass it he says "I want to go to high cool!!!!" Taylor loves trains, loves trains!!! Here are a couple of pictures of his birthday party.

Ok so I know this is late but, Pat took me to florida for my birthday. We went to the zoo during the day and had beople for cake and pizza that night. I'm so mad that we forgot the camera at the zoo. Also my sister Holly suprised me for a visit and helped me paint my kitchen. I know, I know, I need to take pics of the inside of my house and post them. I will soon, cut me some slack I have a 2 month old and a 2 year old.

Life

Well we just finished painting one more room in our house. We have two rooms left plus the bathrooms. It is fun being able to paint your own home and get every thing in its place. I love our little home. Pat is really the one who puts things all together. I am proud of myself for painting the bedroom almost all by myself.

Taylor and Spencer are so cute. Taylor is going through a phase that he wants to pull out all of his toys but does not want to clean anything up, this is something we are working on. Spencer is getting so big, I already need to start buying size 2 diapers. He is bycling and kicking his legs. Today I actually saw him look at his hand and move it to his mouth. It was so cool because I could actually see in his eyes that he was thinking of what he was wanting to do. He is getting so big. He smiles and is starting to coo!!!! Love it.

Taylor, Spencer and I are going to Arizona from Feb. 20th to March 12th. I can not wait to see my family we have not been back since Taylor was 8 months, Wow it has been 2 years. That is way to long. I can not wait to see everyone.

Ok, so my arm was twisted to start a blog. Well not really, I have wanted to start one for awhile, I just got a little nudge. Hum, where do I start. We are now in South Carolina with our 2 wonderful little boys. Taylor is 2 and 1/2 and Spencer is 2 months. Taylor loves his little brother. He loves to hold him, then says "oh heavy" and wants you to take him- to funny. And when I get Spencer out of bed Taylor makes high pitched noises and says "tough him too mommy"- it is so much fun!!!

We are starting to get our house in order. I'm grateful that I have Pat because he is so good about organizing and wanting to do things around the house. When Taylor, Spencer, and I came up right before Christmas, after Spencers birth, Pat had the Living room, entre way, hall ways and our master bedroom painted. He also had our master bedroom and living room put together, with the Christmas tree up. The awesome thing is, he got our stuff from florida only 2 days before comming down for Spencers birth. It looked amazing!!!!

Taylor is so wonderful. He pottytrained himself 11 weeks before Spencer was born. SHUT UP!!!! I could not beleive it, especially hearing about how hard it is to potty train BOYS. He says the cutest things, like tonight he came out of his room when Pat and I were watching American Idol and said "watch American Idol too" and it really does not do it justice just reading it, I wish you could hear it- too cute. And when he is ready to take a nap or go to bed the says "chocolate milk go to bed too mommy" really, you just have to hear him. The other day he farted while I was sitting on the couch. He stuck out his little butt and said "mell mommy, mell my butt!!!!" I about died, imagine if he did that at church. He does not says his s's. Tonight Pat and I were in Ashley Furniture and Steve Wonder was playing. Pat said "wow old school Steve Wonder" Taylor said "teve Wonder", we just cracked up.

Spencer is the cutest thing. Can you imagine Pat and I had a Red head, blue eyed little chub. His skin is as white as can be. Poor little thing, he's really going to burn in the sun. Next to Taylor, who gets a tan line the first time he is in the sun. Spencer is huge, he is already 13 lbs and just under 8 weeks old. He has got these thighs that are so squeezable. I LOVE THEM!!!

Pat is so good with the kids, I love watching them together. I love seeing Taylor with his Daddy. Pat likes to work on things around the house. He is now planning on putting in a granite composit sink in our kitchen, replacing the usual builder (stainless steel). It's real nice. He is turning into quite the little handy man. Before I came up from florida, he changed out the faucet in our bathroom and the kitchen. He also added an instant hot water dispencer for cleaning mimis (pacifiers) and sippy cups. WOW!!!!

I'm just cooking, doing laundry, feeding the baby, feeding Taylor, changing Spencers diapers, giving baths, cleaning, cleaning , feeding the baby, changing more diaper, cleaning Taylors toys, catching up on email, etc......... You all know how it goes, a mother/wifes work is never done. And you know at the end of the day it looks like you did not do anything at all. Talk about being at work 24/7 lol, but I love it and would not change it for the world. I love my boys!!!
